Originally from Denver, Colorado, Katie has been enjoying "Southern living" for the past 14 years. Moving cross country a couple times growing up helped give her a better understanding at a young age of what it takes to pack up, leave everything behind and have a fresh start in a new town.

Katie attended the University of North Georgia where she graduated with an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies. She also met her wonderful Husband, Joe, at UNG. Joe is originally a Columbus native, so when they got married they decided to pack up and move down here to start their lives together!

Having worked on the legal side of Real Estate for 5 years, Katie has a good understanding of what is needed to get someone from a binding contract to the closing table. After helping with roughly 5000 closings, she knows of all the little things that need to be taken care of that sometimes slip through the cracks. Having this legal background and understanding allows her to give her clients a little extra knowledge and ease in knowing that they are getting things done the right way! Katie enjoyed getting to help people purchase their home on the legal side, but now she wants to be more involved and is finding her muse in helping someone search and find THEIR perfect home!
