Mike first moved to the Southeast on a college scholarship. After graduating with a science degree, Mike began teaching math, drafting, coaching and teaching sports and outdoor leadership at THE BAYLOR ACADEMY in Chattanooga. After some time, he started using his communication, customer service and negotiating skills in medical sales that lasted 24 years. Now, after many personal Real Estate transactions, Mike has found his calling in Real Estate for the past 15 years. It is interesting, and fortunate for his clients, that all the training, experience, negotiating certification and other sales skills he has learned and pursued in the last 40 plus years are directly applicable to taking great care of his Real Estate client families.

Mike's family and community activity have been in the Columbus area nearly 40 years. He and his wife of 36 years have raised 3 children and call the West Georgia and East Alabama area home. Also, he is LICENSED as a Real Estate professional in both states. Mike and his wife like to give back to the Columbus area by staying active in the local community where he has been involved as a soccer coach, tennis leagues, math team coaching, tutoring and helping at TRUTH SPRING, the foster care system, a board member of the Methodist Home, teaching Sunday school, being a Deacon at church and playing in various worship bands. He knows that the Columbus area is a wonderful place to live and raise a family.

Mike is also an avid health advocate. He was appointed by the mayor to serve on the CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE for alternative transportation. His role was to study the cities and surrounding counties to help the community develop more green space, walking and biking trails. This allowed him to be up to date on all of the land, road and community developments happening in the area.
