Steve Gunn is a dedicated real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Kennon & Parker in Columbus, Georgia, helping buyers and sellers throughout East Alabama and the surrounding communities. As a longtime resident of the area, Steve understands the local market, the neighborhoods, and what makes this region a great place to call home.

Originally from Alexander City, Alabama, Steve attended Auburn University before beginning his professional career. After graduating in 1992, he moved to North Carolina to work in textile manufacturing as a production manager before returning to Alabama in 1997. He spent more than 30 years working in manufacturing in Columbus, Georgia, developing a strong reputation for leadership, reliability, and attention to detail. Today, Steve brings that same dedication and work ethic to real estate. He is currently licensed in Alabama and is in the process of obtaining his Georgia reciprocal real estate license, which will allow him to serve clients on both sides of the state line even more effectively.

Steve and his wife, Kristie, have called Smiths Station home for many years. Their son, Austin Phillips, wrestled varsity at Smiths Station High School beginning his freshman year, which helped build their family's strong connection to the local schools and community. Today, Austin lives in Florida with Steve and Kristie's three grandchildren. When he's not helping clients navigate the home-buying or selling process, Steve enjoys supporting Smiths Station High School football and wrestling, spending time with family, and staying involved in the community. He attends Mount Zion Methodist Church and is an active member of the East Alabama Board of Realtors. Steve believes real estate is about more than just property--it's about people, relationships, and helping families make confident decisions.
