How to Get Your Georgia Real Estate License

Step 1: Complete Pre-Licensing Education

Complete a 75-hour approved salesperson pre-licensing course from a Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) approved school.

Step 2: Pass the License Exam

Schedule and pass both the national and state portions of the Georgia real estate salesperson exam through PSI (AMP). You must score 72% or higher on each section.

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Apply for your license through the Georgia Real Estate Commission. You'll need a background check and fingerprinting.

Step 4: Affiliate with a Broker

Your license must be held by a licensed broker. When you join KPDD, we handle this affiliation for you.

Step 5: Post-Licensing Education

Complete 25 hours of post-licensing education within your first year of licensure.
